Saint Anthony’s Crew began as a club program in 1995. Sister Elizabeth became the club moderator that same year and was the team moderator for over 15 years. Sister Elizabeth was a tremendous support to the club, attending every race. Her tenure as moderator ended in 2011 with her retirement from Saint Anthony’s High School. Also in 2011, the structure of Saint Anthony’s Crew as a parent-run club ended and Saint Anthony’s High School Crew was created and recognized as a school sport. The team is co-ed and is open to all Saint Anthony High School students in good standing.

Saint Anthony’s High School Crew competes against crews from the East Coast, Midwest, and Canada. The team races locally and on many race courses from Baltimore to Boston.  Among its many accomplishments, the team has won 23- 1st Place, 20- 2nd Place, and 10- 3rd Place medals in the New York State Scholastic Championships, and 2- 2nd Place and 1-3rd Place at Scholastic Rowing Association of America National Regatta.
